According to the Global Wellness Institute, wellness tourism is expected to hit $1.3 trillion by 2025. Wellness retreats and getaways are on the rise and for good reason. As many continue to prioritize overall health and well-being, many spa resorts across the country and the world are designing offerings for a self-care getaway to support the growing interest in wellness, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and more. There’s one Lake Geneva resort that is incorporating all of these key healthy lifestyle pillars into one wellness retreat.

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the launch of its new Innovations in Wellness retreat. In collaboration with Milwaukee’s Golden Rey Integrative Medical Center, this new retreat is designed to activate and reconnect the mind, body and spirit while focusing on key wellness elements including nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management — all while supplying guests with a personalized wellness experience and their very own wellness concierge.

With its WELL Spa + Salon, fitness center, and 1,300 acre campus and outdoor and indoor activities, Grand Geneva is a one-stop destination for relaxation, active lifestyle, and wellness year-round. Innovations in Wellness will incorporate several of the resort’s facilities in this new spring retreat – from CBD massages, sports activities, and nutrition-focused culinary demonstrations led by the resort’s chefs, the retreat takes a comprehensive approach to wellness. The event will also offer select therapies from Golden Rey Integrative Medical Center including hyperbaric oxygen therapy and IV nutrient therapies.

We always look for new, collaborative ways to extend advanced treatments to our audience and we are thrilled to be working with Golden Rey Integrative Medical Center, a leading holistic medical center in the Midwest.”

Guests will also have the opportunity to attend the keynote speaker sessions with acclaimed Midwest physician Dr. Kristen Reynolds, founder, owner and medical director of Golden Rey Integrative Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Reynolds is the first physician in Wisconsin to be triple-trained in family medicine, integrative medicine and functional medicine.

“We are looking forward to sharing our expertise and innovative treatments with Grand Geneva visitors and guests,” shared Dr. Reynolds. “Whether you are someone looking to take the first step in a journey to wellness, or you are someone who wants to expand upon health and nutrition knowledge and explore new treatments, this special spring retreat is tailored to meet the needs of anyone interested in prioritizing health and well-being with a full-picture approach.”

This inaugural retreat will take place at Grand Geneva Thursday, April 27-Friday, April 28 with rates for attendees beginning at $1,195 per person and $1,395 per person with overnight stay at Grand Geneva, including early check-in on day of arrival and in-room welcome amenity.
