The City of Elgin is hosting the annual Daddy Daughter Dance at the Heritage Ballroom, 100 Symphony Way, Elgin on February 17th and February 18th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. The 2023 Daddy Daughter Dance theme is Disney’s Tangled and will feature props and decorations from the 2010 hit film. The City invites children and their fathers or guardians to enjoy a catered buffet dinner and dance the night away. This event will also feature a character appearance by Princess Rapunzel, prize giveaways, and a cookie to take home.
New this year is a special Princess Tea Time on February 18th at 11:00 a.m. for those children ages 2-10. This new offering is designed to meet the needs of the younger guests who may not be able to attend the later evening offerings. The Tea Time will include light refreshments, art making, game and a meet and greet with Princess Rapunzel.
“This event is always so much fun,” said Kate O’Leary, special events coordinator for the City of Elgin. “The kids get to enjoy such a great time in a very immersive experience. The Heritage Ballroom is always decorated fully and they have so much fun dancing and playing.”
Tickets for the Daddy Daughter Dace are $25 for an adult and $15 for each child. Tickets for the Princess Tea Time are $10 for adults and $10 for each child. Registration is required and space is limited.
