Businessman and lawyer Scott Gryder has won the GOP primary for the 11th Congressional District, according to projections.. Gryder will take on incumbent Rep Lauren Underwood in the general election in November.
Gryder is a graduate of Plano High School, holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Illinois-Springfield, a Juris Doctor from DePaul College of Law, and earned a Public Affairs Certificate in Illinois County Government from the Leadership Academy at the University of Illinois Institute of Government & Public Affairs.
Currently President of Commercial Services and Senior Counsel at Near North Title Group, Gryder is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois, the US Northern District of Illinois, and is a Member of Federalist Society.
Gryder is also Chairman of the Kendall County Board.
