A man was shot and killed in Streamwood Friday evening, according to reports from the Streamwood police.
The 31-year-old victim, Kwemi Hardwick, was found dead Friday evening in a Streamwood home on North Victory Lane. Police indicated that he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
A suspect, identified as an acquaintance of Hardwick’s, is in custody.
The death remains under investigation by Streamwood police and the Major Case Assistance Team. Police said they believe the shooting is an isolated event and there is no further threat to the public.
