Our Chef Areli melds Asian flavors of cilantro, basil, green onion, and soy sauce to crispy oysters topped with cabbage and toasted sesame seeds – a light and tasty beginning to a romantic elegant meal. Next, Catch 35 offers a NEW entrée featuring Yellow Fin Tuna Steak with Wasabi Butter. Fresh from the coastal waters of the United States, the Yellow Fin Tuna steak is grilled and served with ramen vegetable noodles – a great choice for our seafood lovers!

Introducing Catch 35’s Chef Areli Valencia!
Chef Bio: Chef Areli a.k.a Nino started in the restaurant business at age 16. He started off as a dishwasher. One year later, he was promoted to prep cook, then line cook. He moved to Bigsby’s Bar & Grill which was owned by Taste America Restaurant Group. There he became the sous chef learning how to expertly cook baby back ribs, chicken, and manage a delivery menu. He then moved to Catch 35 Chicago for a short time learning about seafood and Asian flavors as the sous chef, a few years later he moved to Lloyd’s and was promoted to Executive Chef. When the pandemic hit, he moved to Naperville as the Executive Chef. Chef Areli now runs both Catch 35 Chicago and Naperville. He has been with the company since 1985. Over 36 years! “I want my guests to leave satisfied and wanting to come back to try more. I want them to tell their friends and family to come and enjoy as well,” stated Chef Areli.
Ninos Fresh Mexican Kitchen
Due to the pandemic, Catch 35 decided to open a ghost kitchen featuring fresh Mexican food inspired by Chef Areli’s culinary background available for pickup and delivery. Catch 35 welcomed Niños Fresh Mexican Kitchen to both our Naperville & Chicago locations in 2021. Ninos Fresh Mexican dishes are available for curbside pickup/delivery thru UberEats, DoorDash, and GrubHub.
