Aurora Man Arrested In Batavia For Domestic Battery And Unlawful Restraint

According to a police new release, an Aurora man was arrested yesterday by Batavia police on charges of domestic battery and unlawful restraint.

The 23 year-old allegedly forced a woman into a vehicle on the 1000 block of Lorlyn Circle in Batavia and took her cellphone.

The act also allegedly violated a restraining order in place.

Police had been dispatched Monday for a welfare check when they were notified the victim been seen in Aurora with the man, the news release said.
