According to a message posted on the U-46 website this evening, 3 U-46 schools will be closed tomorrow.

The three schools that will be closed include the following:

    • Highland Elementary
    • Huff Elementary
    • Parkwood Elementary

    All three were closed Tuesday.

Superintendent Tony Sanders has indicated that school closing are due to staff shortages arising from COVID mitigation requirements. He has also indicated that the district is closely monitoring staffing levels and will likely need to close certain schools if circumstances warrant.
