The Aurora Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation after a man was shot and killed on the city’s east side early Saturday morning.
Just after 3 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a report of a man down in the 400 block of Clark Street. Upon arrival, they found the male suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was transported to Rush Copley Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased after 9 a.m.
Detectives from the Aurora Police Department’s Bureau of Investigations and Evidence Technicians responded to the scene, and a canvass of the neighborhood was conducted to collect potential information from neighbors to assist with the investigation.
