St. Charles Police are investigating a suspicious incident Thursday involving an unidentified man who appeared to solicit to young children to get into his car.
According to a press release from the St. Charles Police Department, on Thursday, December 2, just before 1:00pm, officers responded to the report of a suspicious incident involving a child in the 600 Blk. of S. 11th Avenue.
Two juveniles reported they were outside their residence when a male subject driving a black in color, unknown make/model vehicle stopped in the street. The male subject then reportedly told the juveniles that he had given their parents a ride home last week and reportedly asked the juveniles to come near his vehicle. The juveniles refused and the driver then left the area.
