One of the largest free outdoor drive-through holiday light displays in Northern Illinois, the Aurora Festival of Lights, returns for its 15th year in 2021 with dazzling displays that will delight both adults and children.

Note: Due to the demand last year, a reserved time is required to enter the Festival of Lights.  The reservation is free, please Click Here to reserve your free time slot.

Presented in partnership between the Rotary Club of Aurora and the City of Aurora, this signature winter event is a drive through of more than one mile of spectacular lighted displays at Phillips Park. Entrance is Smith Blvd. at 5th Ave., Aurora.

Come see the new Helicopter Display and you will also enjoy Santa’s Toy Factory, Old Man Winter, elves and reindeer, holiday trains, gigantic snowflakes, beautiful lighted swags on the fence line surrounding the zoo and other seasonal favorites.

Last year boasted over 50,000 cars visit the four-week event. The festival is open to all and the Rotary Club of Aurora does accept donations that benefit local charities.  They are accepting electronic and cash donations on select evenings.  Please Donate Here

The Rotary Club of Aurora (www.aurorarotary.org) is a 98 year old service club and is a part of Rotary International (www.rotary.org).  The Festival of Lights was conceived and executed in 2007 by members of the club and in partnership with the City of Aurora became a reality the very same year.

The light show begins Friday Nov 26, and runs through Dec 26. Sunday through Saturday 5-9pm.  Due to the demand last year, a reserved time is required to enter the Festival of Lights.  The reservation is free, please Click Here to reserve your free time slot.
