The St. Charles Holiday Homecoming will be back this year and better than ever, including the annual Electric Christmas Parade.
Lighting of the Lights will be at 5pm on Friday, November 26th. Come and celebrate the lighting of the city’s lights while kicking-off the holiday season with the community! Even Santa will be there to meet and take pictures with everyone after the ceremony!
Also on the 26th, the Holiday Tree Trail kicks off. Take a stroll down the 1st Street Water Front Walkway to see local organizations & businesses decorated trees. The decorated trees will be up all season so you can stop by anytime to see them! Vote for your favorite from November 26-28.
On Saturday, November 27th, start the day with a Holiday Movie, a free screening of Frozen II at the Acrada Theatre. Doors will open at 9 am to grab your seat and get some snacks from the lobby. The movie will start at 10 am.
Santa’s House will be open for visitors from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm in the East 1st Street Plaza.
And the big event, The Electric Christmas Parade, steps off on Main Street at 5:30 pm. The parade will feature bands, parade floats and a special guest, Santa Claus!
