The AfterImage Film Festival Returns Oct. 21-24 To Saint Charles

The Second Edition of the Film Festival Will Include Films Debuting at Telluride, Cannes, Sundance and SXSW

The AfterImage Film Festival is pleased to announce the first nine selections of its 2021 lineup. This highly curated, four-day cinema experience, which takes place at the Charlestowne 18 Cinema, will feature over 20 films, many of which premiered at some of the world’s most prestigious film festivals including Sundance, SXSW, Berlin, Telluride, Cannes and more.

AfterImage Director Andrew Carlin said the film festival is ready to come back safely: “We’re thrilled to be back after our hiatus,” Carlin said. “Just a few months ago, we had no idea if an in-person festival would be possible. However, we’ve been working closely with Classic Cinemas to ensure attendees will have the safest experience possible. We couldn’t be happier to be back, doing what we love: bringing excellent films to the Fox Valley.”

The inaugural edition of the film festival in 2019 drew more than 500 people over its four-day run.

Tickets are available exclusively through Classic Cinemas’ website. The AfterImage Film Festival takes place October 21-24, 2021. More information at: www.afterimagefilmfestival.com
