The very busy week for the Naperville Police Department continued with the break-in of a jewelry store on West Jefferson Street Wednesday evening.

On Wednesday evening at approximately 9:57 p.m., Naperville Police officers were dispatched to investigate a reported burglary at a jewelry store located in the 0 block of West Jefferson Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the rear entrance to the business showed signs of forced entry.

Officers entered the business and determined that the offenders were no longer on-scene.

The offenders had smashed several display cases and fled the area with an unknown amount of jewelry. An inventory of items missing is being conducted.

The offenders are described as two black males, approximately in their late thirties, with thin to medium builds, wearing masks, dark jackets, jeans, and shoes with white on them.

Anyone who has information regarding this case is asked to contact the Naperville Police Department at (630) 420-6666 and ask for investigations.
