Naperville North High School is back to normal today after the Naperville Police Department declared the school safe yesterday afternoon.

The school was closed yesterday in response to an emailed bomb threat.

Naperville police issued a statement yesterday giving the all clear:

“We responded to Naperville North High School at approximately 7:30 a.m. today, Sept. 22, after school administrators received an emailed bomb threat against the school. Police thoroughly searched the building and school campus with the assistance of area bomb squad personnel and dogs trained in explosives detection. No weapons or explosives were found. The investigation into the source of the threat is continuing and anyone with any information is asked to call (630) 420-6666 and ask for the Investigations Division.”

No information about the source of the threat has been released at this time.
