Naperville Police are investigating a home invasion that took place Saturday that resulted in minor injuries to the resident.
On Saturday, Sept. 18, at approximately 3:41 a.m., Naperville Police Officers responded to the 100 block of Whispering Hills Drive for a report of a burglary in progress.
Police have determined that a subject made entry to an apartment, resulting in an altercation with one of the residents thereof. During this incident, the victim suffered minor injuries.
The offender fled the scene in a dark colored minivan prior to the police arriving. The investigation revealed that this was NOT a random act.
