Naperville police identified and arrested a 29 year-old Naperville man in connection with a burglary in the 2900 block of Stonewater Drive in Naperville.
On Tuesday, at approximately 4:36 p.m., Naperville Police Department officers and detectives responded to a report of a burglary in progress at the Stonewater address.
A preliminary investigation revealed the suspect may have gained entry through an unlocked first floor window.
Surveillance video of the incident aided police in quickly identifying a suspect. Detectives and officers responded to the residence of the suspect where he was taken into custody. Suspected proceeds and other evidence were also recovered at that time.
The suspect is charged with one felony count of residential burglary and has since been transferred to the Will County Jail.
