Doors open 4pm.

DOSH
Call him a one-man band, a virtuoso, a gifted collaborator or a family man, Martin, Marty, Dosh or Dad, Minneapolis avant-rock luminary Martin Dosh is lauded by fellow musicians for his astounding solo, multi-instrumental abilities, mashing together elements of jazz, electro, hip-hop, minimalism, and ambient.

Joe Policastro Trio
Their unique blend of jazz has an acoustic aesthetic. Featuring Dave Miller on guitar, Mikel Avery on drums with leader Joe Policastro on bass, this alternative jazz trio puts its spin on anything it touches. Their last release, Nothing Belongs Here, blends original tunes as well as bold reconstructions of covers.

Chris Greene Quartet
Chris Greene Quartet is lead by saxophonist Chris Greene. The quartet grounds itself with jazz but incorporates elements of funk, hip-hop, reggae reflecting their deep and rich musical backgrounds. The band has been on the Chicago jazz scene since 2005 and has 8 released titles under their name. In addition to Chris, the band features Damian Espinosa on keyboards, Marc Piane on bass and drummer Steve Corley.

Chicago Soul Jazz Collective
In 2017, The Chicago Soul Jazz Collective began paying tribute to old soul jazz records and quickly realized their was more their for them to uncover. Adding original compositions by saxophonist John Fournier, this ensemble not only pays tribute to the great recordings from the past but pushes forward with new music. The ensemble’s goal is always to send ‘everybody home in a better place’ and with its music and energy it does just that.

The show will be held in Mundy Park, located at 21 S. Broadway in Aurora, adjacent to The Venue.
