Update at 6:55, Sunday: The victim in this morning’s fatal shooting at the Trilogy Lounge in St. Charles, Khalief D. McAllister, had been charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery, Armed Violence, Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Mob Action, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Street Gang Member. in connection with a shooting in DeKalb on Halloween 2017. Mr. McAllister had also charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm in relation to an October 8, 2017, shooting, also in DeKalb.
Update at 6pm, Sunday: St. Charles Police have identified the deceased victim as Khalief D. McAllister, 23, of Aurora. No suspects have been apprehended as of yet.
Fox Valley Magazine has obtained exclusive video of Sunday morning’s fatal shooting at Trilogy Lounge in St. Charles.
The video, taken from a nearby security camera, shows patrons scattering at the apparent sound of shots being fired and others running towards the scene.
Update: St. Charles Police have just issued a press release regarding the incident:
- A total of four shooting victims have been identified.
- One victim has died of their wounds at Delnor Hospital.
- Two other victims underwent emergency surgery at Delnor. One is listed in critical condition; one is listed in stable condition.
- The fourth victim was treated at Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora and was released.
An employee of a nearby business provided the video below this morning at approximately 8:30am showing police presence at the scene.
Further updates are expected shortly.
Shots were fired at a new St. Charles night club, Trilogy Lounge, overnight. According to multiple witness reports, a strong police presence was observed after the shots were first heard.
Trilogy is located in a strip mall at the 2000 block of Lincoln Highway in St. Charles.
One witness whose husband owns a business in the mall indicated that as many as six shots were heard at around 2am Sunday morning.
There are no further details available at this time. St. Charles Police have not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.
