St. Charles Man Charged With Attempted Murder in Stabbing Incident

A  St. Charles man, 66, has been charged with attempted murder after he stabbed another man in the neck Saturday afternoon, police said.

According to a press release, the accused was arguing with the victim outside an apartment building in the 1400 block of South 14th Street when he went inside his home, returned with a knife and stabbed the victim.

The victim, a 38-year-old man, was transported to Delnor Hospital and is stable.

The accused is also charged with two counts of aggravated battery.
