    The Post Pandemic Bridal Boom

Giving way to last year’s pandemic, and months of quarantine, are many anxiously awaiting brides-to-be.

Let’s be honest, last year was tough for everyone. But can you just imagine a bride-to-be who has spent months, if not years, planning her big day, only to have it cancelled? Not only is this emotionally difficult, it’s also a logistical nightmare.

Hours on the phone, 100’s of e-mails. When can she reschedule? Are vendors still available, or even still in business?

The brides that we had the honor of working with past season (2020) were so humbling, patient and kind. Many of them had to reschedule their wedding more than once. Yet they were so happy to be getting married. Just think about all the joy they had in their hearts at such a troubled time in our world.

As a bridal Hair and Makeup stylist, I found peace and humility in working with them. Many shared with me how relieved they were that it was just going to be them, their best friends, and family. Others were sad that they could not share their wedding day with more of their loved ones. Either way they found love, and were so joyful to be getting married. That joy spread to me and my staff, making what was going on in our world fade into the background…even if only for a few hours. I’m grateful for each and every one of them.

This year we, along with all bridal vendors, are looking at our busiest bridal season ever. We are so excited to be part of this “Post Pandemic Bridal Boom.”

Here’s to celebrating all brides that decided to get married last year, and all the brides that have waited until this year. 🥂

    Love will survive!
