The festival draws tens of thousands of people throughout the five-day event. Festival highlights include a water ski show, live music, craft fair, lighted boat parade, a carnival and a fireworks display over the lake. And plenty of food and beer are available.
Spread across Flat Iron, Library and Seminary Parks in downtown Lake Geneva, Venetian Festival is open Wednesday through Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from noon to midnight.

Arts & Craft Fair
The 24th annual Venetian Festival Arts & Crafts Fair is held Aug. 18 and 19 at Library Park, just west of downtown Lake Geneva on the lakefront. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Browse 110 art booths with FREE admission and grab a brat at the Jaycees Brat Stand located in Library Park and open during the Arts & Crafts Fair.
Located in beautiful Flat Iron and Seminary Parks in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva, the Venetian Festival Carnival offers family fun for everyone. Great rides for all ages, games, entertainment and food will bring smiles to all. Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday feature ride specials!
The carnival ground are open Wednesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Friday from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; Saturday from noon to 11:30 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 10:30 p.m. Ride specials include $20 wristbands Wednesday and Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
Water Ski Show, Boat Parade & Fireworks
Held on August 19, the water ski show, boat parade and fireworks are a must. The Wonder Lake Ski Team performs at 6 p.m. on Geneva Lake and may be viewed from the shoreline at Library Park and The Riviera.
The lighted boat parade, themed “Viva Las Vegas” this year, starts right at dusk in front of Library Park in Lake Geneva and The Riviera.
Fireworks are shot off in Geneva Bay and can be viewed from Library Park, the lake front, Riviera Beach, and Flat Iron Park in down town Lake Geneva.
The Entertainment Pavilion located in Flat Iron Park offers beer (must be 21 to enter) and is open Wednesday through Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from noon to midnight. Beverages may be purchased in the beer tent only with tokens sold in the beer tent.
