Upcoming Shows At The Arcada Theatre in January

$15 – The Procrastinator’s Ball Featuring Mr. Blotto

Mr. Blotto is a jam band from Chicago, Illinois. They blend hard rock, original rock, southern rock, folk music, and country rock. They formed in 1991, and continue to tour extensively in the midwest area. Along with their six album releases and four DVDs, they have also released four “official bootleg” albums of their live recordings.

Jimmy Page Birthday Bash Featuring Kashmir

An excellent way to celebrate Jimmy Page’s birthday and pay tribute to one of the greatest to grace the stage! One of The Arcada’s favorite re-occurring bands, KASHMIR incredibly re-creates a true 1970s Led Zeppelin experience with special effects, vintage equipment and costumes, and musically, one of the most fabulous performances you will witness!

The Last Waltz

During the late 1960’s, the only entity that displayed the diversity of musical genre’s better than Top 40 radio…was a group appropriately named, THE BAND. Four Canadians and a fella from Arkansas with musical influences, ranging  from American Folk to Rock, Country to Classical, Psychedelic to Soul, Oompah to OMG vocal harmonies!

The Navigator is a 1924 comedy directed by and starring Buster Keaton. The film was written by Clyde Bruckman and co-directed by Donald Crisp. Wealthy Rollo Treadway (Buster Keaton) suddenly decides to propose to his neighbor across the street, Betsy O’Brien (Kathryn McGuire), and sends his servant to book passage for a honeymoon sea cruise to Honolulu.  TUESDAY, JAN 7

The Lotus Kings is truly a labor of love for Deacon Blues founder and guitarist Steven Kikoen. Being one of his earliest influences, Kikoen’s discovery of Carlos Santana in his teens changed the path of his musical direction dramatically. With such a strong connection to the sound, the sustain, and the phrasing of Santana’s work, fused with the innovative joining of Latin and Afro-Cuban rhythms to rock, funk, and later jazz––the stage was set for the future award-winning guitarist, music educator and impresario.

Girl Shy is a 1924 romantic comedy silent film starring Harold Lloyd and Jobyna Ralston. The movie was written by Sam Taylor, Tim Whelan and Ted Wilde and was directed by Fred C. Newmeyer and Taylor. Live accompaniment provided by Chicagoland’s premiere organist Jay Warren!

The Allman Betts Band With Special Guests Jackson Stokes & JD Simo

The sons of Gregg Allman (Devon Allman) and Dickey Betts (Duane Betts) have joined forces to form The Allman Betts Band. They kicked off their World Tour on March 27, 2019 and sold out twelve of their first eighteen shows.  The show features new music, songs from their solo projects and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes in honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band.
