The St. Charles Business Alliance is excited to announce that the Eighth Annual St. Charles Jazz Weekend is hosting live jazz music on Sept. 12-15 throughout St. Charles. There are over 36 different performances set between 17 different venues for brunch, dinner and late night entertainment.
This year’s venues include: Baltria Vintage Gallery, Harvest Lounge at Pheasant Run, Mount St. Mary Park, ROX City Grill, Francesca’s on the River, Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, The Filling Station Pub & Grill, The House Pub, Spotted Fox, McNally’s Traditional Irish Pub, First Street Plaza, Vintage 53 Wine Bar, Club Arcada, La Mesa Modern Mexican, The Wine Exchange, Eden on the River and The Office Dining & Spirits. The venues will host many performances from jazz soloists, quintets, big bands and more that cover a range of jazz styles complementary for their in-house guests. Grammy Award winning saxophonist Frank Catalano will perform four times throughout the four day event, starting with a performance at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Filling Station Pub & Grill.
Jenna Sawicki, Executive Director of the St. Charles Business Alliance, said she is excited about the increase in performances from last year’s event.
“The increase in performances is fantastic for giving our businesses and visitors an array of jazz styles to enjoy,” Sawicki said. “We hope everyone gets a chance to come out.”
