Holiday Tradition Cruises Across Lake Geneva

On Board the Lake Geneva Cruise Line Santa Cruise Passengers See Lighted Holiday Displays and Santa Emerge from His Hideaway

Gather your family and friends to celebrate the spirit of the season with a trip to Santa’s Hideaway on the Lake Geneva Cruise Line Santa Cruise. The signature Santa Cruise, that has become a holiday tradition for many, starts the day after Thanksgiving and runs through January 4th. On board the Santa Cruise, passengers see lighted holiday displays and watch as Santa emerges from his hideaway.

Lake Geneva Cruise Line’s historic boats are staffed with a cruise director, decked out with twinkling lights, and filled with holiday music and cheer. The enclosed and heated boats guarantee a cozy ride for family and friends as they hear the story about Santa and his helpers and how he uses Lake Geneva as his summer residence and a place to test all the toys he is building. Children are amazed when the tour boat hovers just offshore at Santa’s Hideaway and Santa emerges to wave and call out each of the children’s names.

During the 40-minute Santa Cruise, passengers have time to join in sing-a-longs and enjoy a cash bar stocked with adult and children’s beverages. Tours depart daily on the half-hour beginning at 4:30 p.m. The 8:30 p.m. weekend tours are for adults only and feature a guest singer on certain dates.

The Santa Cruise departs from the Cruise Line’s winter harbor located in Williams Bay at Gage Marine & Pier 290. Ticket holders have a chance to enjoy a walk through the Santa Cause’s Christmas Tree Festival (located in Gage Marine’s Wood Boat & Event Center) before boarding the boat. Featuring eight trees creatively trimmed by local non-profits, this winter wonderland is guaranteed to bestow joy upon all ages.

“Some refer to our Santa Cruise as the watery Polar Express,” said Bill Gage, president and owner of Gage Marine, Lake Geneva Cruise Line and Pier 290. “A way to spread holiday joy and give back to the community, the Santa Cruise is another way for locals and visitors to enjoy lake life,” added Bill.

Santa Cruise regular ticket prices are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors (65+ years), and $15 for youth and children (4-17 years). Prime time ticket prices are $29 for adults, $27 for seniors (65+ years), and $19 for youth and children (4-17 years). Purchase tickets at santacruiselakegeneva.com.
