The Geneva History Museum invites the community to the 5th Annual BBQ at the Museum Fundraiser, from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2019. Enjoy an evening under a lit canopy north of the museum building with a buffet dinner, beer, wine, music, silent auction, wine pull, and a jewelry heist sponsored by State Street Jewelers. Cash bar available with cocktails, wine and beer sponsored by Fox River Distilling Company, Patten House and Stockholms Brew Pub.
Rare video oral histories from the museum’s archives will be displayed on a 10-foot screen throughout the evening. The museum will be open to explore the Feature Gallery: Kane County Juried Art Exhibition of over 30 pieces celebrating the county’s cultural heritage and the Main Gallery: Geneva’s Story with rare artifacts and personal stories.
Limited space available, reservations are $60 per person or $50 per person for museum members. All proceeds benefit the Geneva History Museum, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization at 113 South Third Street with a mission to preserve and share Geneva’s story while inspiring and engaging the community.
