Fox River Arts Ramble Coming to the Valley

Fox River Arts, an arts collaboration, announces the 2nd Annual Fox River Arts Ramble, a two-day self-guided tour of art in the valley. The Ramble (a collaborative effort of the Fine Line Creative Arts Center, the St Charles Arts Council, and Water Street Studios) is coming to the Fox Valley on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

The Ramble organizers are currently looking for artists and locations to participate in this year’s event. The registration fee is $50 to participate and ensures a listing on the Ramble map/brochure that will be widely distributed prior to the event. If you are an artist, art space, art center, gallery, etc. located in Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, or Elgin please register to participate in this year’s Fox River Arts Ramble before February 1, 2019. Registration can be completed by visiting foxriverarts.com. Interested participants who are looking for space or have additional space to share can email foxriverarts@gmail.com to access a shared spreadsheet for facilitating partnerships for the event.

Last year’s event featured multiple artistic disciplines in over 40 locations in Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, and Elgin, including Open Studios, Galleries, Art Schools, Museums, Public Art Venues/Tours, and Creative Spaces. Overall, participants were extremely pleased with the experience and enjoyed welcoming familiar faces and new visitors into their spaces.
