Find treats in Lake Geneva’s first ever Frights and Fun Fest, running Friday, October 26 through Saturday, November 3, 2018. This nine-day celebration of Halloween is serving up tricks, treats, frights and delights for all ages and interests. From ghost walks and haunted hayrides; to magic shows, costume contests and festivals; and everything in between, Lake Geneva has something for the entire family. American Horrors Film Festival (October 26 & 27)

Head to the downtown Geneva Theater for two days of curated horror shorts, films, documentaries and laser light shows running from noon to midnight are sure to keep you at the edge of your seat. Ages 17 and older.

Legends and Lore at Old World Wisconsin (October 26 & 27)

Troves of supernatural tales brought to Wisconsin over the generations come to life as you venture into the dark of the woods, encounter traveling performers around their fire, hear eerie tales performed by lantern light, and attempt a haunted maze under the light of the moon at Old World Wisconsin.

Dr. Scary’s Scream Park (October 26 & 27 and November 2 & 3)

Be ready for the horror, evil, fear and screams as you make your way through Dr. Scary’s two haunted houses featuring 70 rooms of terror. Open rain or shine and recommended for ages 14 and older.

Lake Geneva Ghost Walks (October 26 & 27 and November 2 & 3)

If you’re captivated by local folklore, Wisconsin legend tripping, Lake Geneva history, or just interested in sparking your imagination with strange Lake Geneva tales, this is your tour.

Boos & Brews Bash at Lake Lawn Resort (October 26 & 27)

Live music, spooky spirits, wicked brews, seasonal concessions and a spookiest costume contest will be some of the many ways to have fun at Lake Lawn Resort. Overnight packages are available for arrival and include accommodations for 2 nights, a $100 resort credit, and two-day admission to Boos and Brews for each registered guest.

Beer + Spirits Festival at The Ridge Hotel (October 27)

The Ridge Hotel has plenty of Halloween tricks, treats and entertainment along with unlimited tastings from 35 Midwest craft breweries and distilleries at their Beer + Spirits Festival. Purchase early admission tickets for exclusive access to three breweries.

Covetoberfest at The Cove of Lake Geneva (October 27)

The Cove of Lake Geneva is treating families to Covetoberfest, a carnival featuring games, snacks and outdoor entertainment.

Costumes & Cocktails at Crafted Americana (October 27)

Dress up to win and head to Crafted Americana at The Ridge Hotel. Costume contest participants will have a chance to win eclectic bottles of wine from the restaurants award-winning cellar and an overnight stay at The Ridge Hotel while sipping spooking spirits and harvest ales.

Magic Shows at Tristan Crist Theatre (October 27 & November 3)

Witness thrilling magic and large scales illusions up close and personal at the Tristan Crist Magic Theatre. You will be amazed as a lady is cut in halves, as a motorcycle appears from impossible conditions, and as Tristan Crist delves into the supernatural as he levitates a haunted table.

Haunted Hayride at Dan Patch Stables at the Grand Geneva (October 27)

Ghosts and ghouls will be invading the Dan Patch Stables and woods at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa for an evening of spooktacular fun. Hayrides run from 6:00 p.m. to midnight.

Lake Geneva Canopy Tours Pumpkin Drop & Fall Festival (October 27 and 28)

The Lake Geneva Canopy Tours Pumpkin Drop & Fall Festival promises plenty of action, adventure and entertainment as participants zoom down a 1,200-foot racing zipline with pumpkin in hand to aim at a large bulls eye target below.

Sordid and Scandalous Walking Tour (October 27)

Hear the historic gossip of Lake Geneva including the dish on a 1950’s bank robbery, the towns tie to prohibition gangsters and tales of the Lake Geneva sea serpent during this 90 minutes walking tour.

Silent film Nosferatu with live organist and costume contest at Geneva Theater on October 31

Rocky Horror Picture Show at Geneva Theater on October 31

Hitchcock double feature at the Lake Geneva Library on October 31

Magical Musings in Downtown Lake Geneva (November 2 & 3)

Witches and wizards of all ages won’t want to miss the Great Hall dinner on November 2 that will include a house sorting event and entertainment. The fun continues as you stroll the streets of downtown on November 3 and play along in a scavenger hunt and test your knowledge with trivia. Witches and wizards can also learn to play Quiddich and make wands and potions.
