The Aurora Police Department has issued an alert for a missing 10 year-old boy. His name is Benjamin Pena and he was last seen in the 600 block of W. Galena Bl in Aurora at 7:45pm. Benjamin is approximately 4’08” with a medium build. He was wearing a gray shirt with cars on it and gray pants with a stripe down the side. If you see Benjamin, please call 9-1-1.

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd, was sentenced today to 22.5 years in prison, a 10 year expansion of state sentencing guidelines in second degree murder cases. The victim of yesterday’s tragic auto accident in St. Charles has been identified by St. Charles Police. 52 year-old Charles A. Fowler of Aurora was pronounced dead at Delnor Hospital following the crash of his Ford 150 into a semi-truck and trailer on Kirk Road. His name had been withheld by authorities until his family could be notified. Yesterday, St. Charles Police and Fire Departments responded to the vehicle crash that resulted in the death of  Mr. Fowler.
