A three-vehicle crash in Naperville Tuesday morning sent three people to the hospital, with one remaining in critical condition. At approximately 7:33 a.m. this morning, the Naperville Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a multiple-vehicle crash with injuries in the area of Plainfield/Naperville Road and Leverenz Road. It was determined that a 2015 Ford Escape traveling south on Plainfield/Naperville Road left its lane of travel and crossed into northbound traffic. A 32-year-old Aurora man has been charged with Aggravated DUI Causing Death, a Class 2 Felony, in relation to an April traffic accident in which one of the drivers was killed. On April 6, 2023, at approximately 8:52 p.m., officers with the Aurora Police Department responded to a three-vehicle crash on Eola Road. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is reporting another bear sighting, this time in Antioch, roughly 15 miles from where a bear was sighted on Wednesday. It is unclear whether this is the same bear.
