A 22-year-old Naperville man is in hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds sustained in a shooting Tuesday in residential Naperville. According the Naperville police, at approximately 1:30pm officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2500 block of Leach Drive for the report of a gunshot victim. Police and Fire personnel arrived on scene and located a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Firefighters with the Geneva Fire Department rescued a woman Monday who had jumped into the Fox River near the downtown Geneva dam. Firefighters were dispatched at 11:52am Monday morning for a river rescue. While en route, Geneva firefighters and police officers were notified by Tri-Com Central Dispatch that a bystander had witnessed the victim jump in the Fox River near the western edge of the dam. At approximately 7:31am Monday morning, Aurora police officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Charles Street for a disturbance inside a residence.
