Bartlett police are searching for two vehicles believed to have been involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Bartlett Saturday night. The incident happened near Lake Street and Valley Lane at about 7:10pm, according to police. Two vehicles were traveling westbound on Lake Street when both hit a man running across the street. Neither stopped. The victim, a 35-year-old man from Streamwood, was transported to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates where he subsequently died. Investigators believe one of the vehicles is red, and the other vehicle could be a dark-colored, four-door 2015-2022 Chevrolet Trax or a GMC Terrain…

A 30-year-old Virgil man who had been reported missing since March 1 has been found dead near the area of Hanson Road in Unincorporated Campton Township.  According to a press release from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, the search for James Norris began again in the morning hours of this morning, and at approximately 11:00 A.M. Norris’ body was located just off the Great Western Trail. The investigation is still ongoing but at this time no foul play is suspected.  Anyone having any information is requested to contact the Kane County Investigations Division at 630-444-1103.

On Friday morning at approximately 6:40am, an unidentified man was making a delivery of alcoholic beverages to a Sugar Grove business t 11 Waubonsee Drive when his day took an abrupt turn for the worse. Upon arriving back to his truck, the driver was met by an armed intruder in the cab. In a surprising move, the Chicago Bears have traded their #1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft to the Carolina Panthers for additional draft picks and, most surprising of all, wide receiver standout DJ Moore. In all, in return for the top pick, the Bears will receive Carolina’s #9 pick, 61st pick (2nd round), 1st round pick in 2024 and 2nd round pick in 2025, along with Moore.
