The City of Aurora is, once again, offering financial assistance to local organizations planning neighborhood events next year.
Neighborhood and community groups planning a public event in 2020 may apply for a Neighborhood Festival Funding Grant.
Funding, which is limited to $1,500 per applicant, is made available to assist groups that are hosting public events designed to educate, benefit, organize and/or connect Aurora residents. Funds can pay for necessary support services such as table and chair rental, sound systems, stages, tents, etc.
The deadline to apply is December 12, 2019, for events planned for January 1 through June 30, 2020. The deadline for events taking place from July 1 through December 31, 2020 is March 1, 2020.
