Aurora Native Serves on Navy Aircraft Carrier During Deployment

Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Airman Dylan Alsip, from Aurora, Illinois, moves pieces on the Ouija board in flight deck control aboard the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during flight operations. The Ouija board is a scale model of the flight deck and hangar bays that tracks all aircraft positioning and flight operations. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
