Batavia Mainstreet is excited to host the 10th annual Cocktails in the Park Fundraiser July 31st 7:00- 11:00 pm at Appleton Park. Discover downtown Batavia and enjoy an evening on the riverbanks of the Fox River with live music, drinks, small plates and more!
Cocktails in the Park raised more than $15,000 last year and the hope is to surpass that with help from the community. The funds raised will be used to support other downtown programming from Batavia MainStreet, such as BatFest, Batavia Farmers’ Market, Second Fridays, Block Party and more.
Cocktails in the Park Committee Chair, Kurt Hagemann says “we are incredibly excited to be able to welcome everyone back down to Appleton Park this year. This is an event that the community loves and is very meaningful to Mainstreet as it is our only true fundraiser. It has been such a challenge for us all over the past year and a half and what better way to celebrate our community and show how we all got through it together than with Cocktails in the Park!”
Entry tickets into the event are $35 in advance and can be purchased at downtownbatavia.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the night of the event for $40. In addition to general entry tickets, attendees can take advantage of reserving a picnic table which comes with a dedicated cocktail server. Picnic tables can be purchased online. All tickets include entry, a commemorative Batavia Mainstreet glass, food from participating downtown restaurants, and live music. Drink tickets are also available online or can be purchased at the event, prices are $7 for one or $60 for a 10.
