According to multiple reports, two people were killed in a fiery crash on I-88 near Aurora just after midnight Wednesday.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened at around 12:45am this morning.
The incident occurred near Eola road, which was subsequently closed for nearly 5 hours.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene after one the vehicles caught on fire.
Illinois State Police are investigating the incident.
