Embankment and bridge work underneath the Fabyan Parkway Bridge over the Fox River will begin the week of Monday, April 3rd, weather permitting, with working hours from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Saturday.
Daily temporary lane closures and the use of flaggers or cones to control traffic for construction vehicles entering and leaving the work zone will be required.
Work is expected to be completed in two months, weather permitting.
Earth work on portions of the north and south side of Fabyan Parkway, from the Fox River Trail to IL 25, will involve cutting the ditch, stabilizing the ground with erosion control blanket, and seeding.
This improvement will improve drainage and eliminate soil erosion adjacent to the Fox River Trail.
Residents living near and/or using facilities near the work zone will want to avoid the area during construction and exercise caution if in the area during this work.
