On Sunday, October 9, the DuKane Chapter of A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois is hosting its biggest event of the year, with one of the largest Motorcycle Runs in the State of Illinois – the 36th Annual DuKane A.B.A.T.E. Toy and Food Run.
This all-day event begins with a motorcycle parade leaving at 12:30 sharp from Knuckleheads Tavern and Schmidt’s Towne Tap in Elburn and heading to our afterparty spot, The Sycamore Speedway where participants can listen to live music by The Eliminator Band. Also on tap are food, vendors, a burnout competition, a weenie bite competition put on by the Fugarwe Tribe MC, and a mechanical bull.
Registration is at Knucklehead’s Tavern, which will feature live music from Amy Stephan and Company and Schmidt’s Towne Tap in Elburn, and starts at 9:30 am.
The Run will be escorted and blocked by multiple police departments. It’s only $20 Per Person plus a toy or food donation. Get the party started early by bringing new and unopened toys to any participating dealers.
This year, there will be 4 trophies handed out:
