    The Kane County Fair celebrates 153 years of traditional summer family fun and 4-H on Wednesday, July 13 through Sunday, July 17. 2022 at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles. 

     It’s a big, fun-fair, with a small town feel, filled with exciting grandstand events, popular live bands, unlimited carnival rides, 4-H animals and competitions, outdoor kids events, and weekend Classic Car Show. 

    Pre-fair fun with Carnival ONLY on Wednesday, July 13 from 3 to 11pm. Free admission to fairgrounds; $25.00 unlimited carnival rides (Fantasy Amusements).

    There’s always something new at the Kane County Fair.  The cute racing pigs are back. Test your knowledge at the Balster’s Wheel of Agriculture Game Show.  Get up close with 4-H animals or at the petting zoo. New this year: World of Wonders and Texas Tommy’s Wild West Revue!  

    In celebrating it’s tenth anniversary this year, Dreams Dance Academy in St. Charles is holding the Kane County Fair Talent Contest on Sunday, July 17 at 4:00 p.m. inside the Prairie Events Center Building, east side.

    Live Music

    Live it up and take in the sights & sounds of the Kane County Fair for live music on the Miller Lite Sound Stage and action-packed thrills in the grandstand. 

    The schedule of live bands on the Miller Lite stage and grandstand events include:

    Thursday July 14 at 6:30pm  – IL State Truck Pullers (grandstand, $10)

    Friday July 15 at 5:00pm      – The Two Beer Tommy Band (Miller Lite Soundstage)

    Friday July 15 at 7:30pm – PCB Bullriders and Cowgirls – (Grandstand $20)

    Friday July 15 at 8:00pm – Pino Farina (Miller Lite Soundstage)

    Saturday July 16 at 8pm – Hillbilly Rockstarz (Miller Lite Soundstage)

    Saturday July 16 at 7:30pm – PCB Bullriders and Cowgirls – (Grandstand $20)

    Sunday July 17 at 2pm & 5pm -Ramer Demolition Derby (Grandstand $10)

    Sunday July 17 at 7:00pm – Hi Infidelity (Miller Lite Soundstage)

    There will be a special appearance by Ozzie and Annie of the Kane County Cougars on Friday and Saturday.

    Special Events

    On Thursday from 4-8pm – Radio Remote -WRMN 1410 AM Radio Shopping Show. 

    Classic Car Show featuring stock/modified old/new cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display outdoors for viewing on Saturday July 16 and Sunday July 17

    Watch for additional events as they continue to be scheduled.

    Admission, Carnival and Hours Details

    Wednesday July 13 – 3 to 11pm

    Free admission to fairgrounds; $25.00 unlimited carnival rides (Fantasy Amusements)

    Thursday July 14 – 3 to 11pm

    $5.00 admission (ages 3 & older); seniors free and military with ID until 5pm; free – age 2 and under; $30.00 fair admission and unlimited carnival rides (Fantasy Amusements)

    Friday July 15 – Noon to Midnight

    $10.00 admission; $5.00 children 3-12; free 2 and under; $25.00 unlimited carnival rides (does not include admission) Unlimited sales stop at 4:00pm (Fantasy Amusements)

    Saturday July 16 – Noon to midnight

    $10.00 admission; $5.00 children 3-12; free 2 and under; $25.00 unlimited carnival rides (does not include admission) Unlimited sales stop at 4:00pm (Fantasy Amusements)

    Sunday July 17 – Noon to 10pm

    $10.00 admission; $5.00 children 3-12; free 2 and under; $25.00 unlimited carnival rides from Noon to 4:00pm – does include admission. (Fantasy Amusements); Last Blast! $5.00 fair admission and $20 unlimited carnival rides from 6pm to close.

    The Kane County Fair is one of the oldest and long-standing fairs in the country. It is sponsored in part by Ascension Saint Joseph Elgin and Ascension Mercy Aurora, Miller Lite/Euclid Beverage, and Golf Club of Illinois Algonquin.
