The Rainbow Room

Our unique oval Rainbow Room offers both old-world elegance and romantic charm. The lovely lighted dance floor, richly detailed mahogany columns, circular balcony, and stunning views of the Rose Garden and Fox River provide a picture-perfect setting for your wedding day.

Rose Garden & Boathouse

Traditional English rose gardens are filled with equal parts beauty and bloom. Our Rose Garden at Hotel Baker is no exception. During the day, the sun’s rays filter onto the colorful rose petals amidst the green hedges. In the evening, our couples can share a romantic kiss beneath the sparkle of the trees which are all lit with the soft glow of thousands of golden lights.

Waterfront Ballroom & Patio

Our newly-renovated Waterfront Ballroom, with its large windows that overlook the Fox River, gorgeous European marble flooring, and elegant chandeliers, provides an ideal setting for our more intimate wedding receptions.

Dream Wedding: Hotel Baker is fabulous! Our event coordinator was extremely friendly and accessible for all questions throughout our planning process. There were so many different options to choose from for creating a wedding package. She listened to our vision for a vintage theme and the day was exactly what we wanted! The food and service was fabulous! We were well taken care of. We reserved the Rainbow Room, and it was decorated so beautifully. We also enjoyed the Rose Garden for pictures and cocktail hour. The space allows for a romantic and intimate wedding. We had 180 guests. Hotel Baker is also located on one of the cutest streets in St. Charles. We conveniently stayed at the hotel that night, as did some of our guests. The accommodations are very nice! Parking was also abundant and close to the hotel. Overall we were very pleased with the entire day! Thank you Hotel Baker for the most memorable wedding! Our guests are still complimenting on how amazing the food was!

Magical Wedding Perfection: We hosted our daughter’s wedding on August 2nd, 2013 at Hotel Baker. It was a small wedding with only 55 people. We came to Hotel Baker because we wanted the full wedding experience for the smaller group. The first thing is that the food was incredible! So many times you go to a wedding and get average banquet food, not here. The filets were cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful. The Waterfront Room was the perfect size for our group; we had the dance floor in the center of the room and everyone had a great view. The service was perfect and attentive; the food was served quickly, and the clean up was very prompt. Lastly, I cannot say enough good things about the planning experience with the Catering Manager. She walked us through the entire planning process and kept me as the mother of the bride calm. Thank you again for all your beautiful work.

Beautiful Venue: This was my dream location and it was amazing to get married there! We did the ceremony outside in the Rose Garden and it was BEAUTIFUL! The flowers and scene with the water was just breathtaking – nothing like it. We also booked our wedding in both the Rainbow Room & the Waterfront Room. Both rooms are just stunning! The Rainbow Room was so amazing with the LARGE light up dance floor and top balcony seating! The Waterfront Room has a beautiful view of the river with beautiful floors and a high ceiling. The hotel has so many unique features to it; we fell in love right away! And, a boat to take you away after the wedding for pictures – who can beat that! The place was over all just breathtaking. The food was AMAZING! For wedding reception food, my expectations where not very high but this is food that you expect when you walk into a five star restaurant! My guests ranted and raved about the food, and how beautiful Hotel Baker was. The rooms for out of town guests are very nice and of course the penthouse for the bride & groom is so cool! I would recommend Hotel Baker to any bride who wants something more than the average reception hall! And who can beat getting married and having the reception all in the same place! It is a must look and I will always be happy with how beautiful my wedding was!

Dream Wedding: From the very time we stepped foot in the building we knew this is where we wanted our wedding to be! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! More importantly, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful! From our very first meeting with our wedding coordinator, to the day of the event, all of our wants and needs were taken care of.
