Naperville police responded to what apparently were shots fired from a moving vehicle near 300 East Bailey in Naperville Wednesday evening.
On Wednesday at approximately 9:33 p.m., Naperville Police Department officers responded to the 300 block of East Bailey for a report of shots fired. Arriving officers found multiple spent shell casings in a nearby parking lot.
There were no injured people located after a search and canvass of the area.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the shots were fired from a dark colored sedan that was traveling through the parking lot, then left the area. It is currently unclear what the offender was shooting at.
