Subsequent to the search, the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office approved charges against a 40-year-old male and a 46-year-old female, both from the residence that was searched. Each have been charged with ten counts of violations of Animals in Entertainment Act (Owns Animal for Sport Fighting), each is a class 4 felony, ten counts of violations of the Animals in Entertainment Act (Train Animal for Sport Fighting), each is a class 4 felony, one count of Violation of Animals in Entertainment Act (Breed Animal for Sport Fighting), a class 4 felony, and three counts of Possession of Ammo without a FOID, each is a class A misdemeanor.

The suspects were taken to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Following a court hearing on Tuesday, they were released with pre-trial conditions.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
