A 54-year-old Yorkville man is in custody following an investigation by Kendal County Sheriff’s Office detectives of a burglary in March.

According to police, on March 11, 2025, Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a burglary in the 5000 block of Route 126 in unincorporated Yorkville. Deputies immediately began gathering information, and the case was subsequently assigned to detectives for further investigation.

Following a review of the facts and circumstances with the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office, an arrest warrant was issued for the suspect for one count of Burglary, a Class 2 Felony, and one count of Disorderly Conduct, a Class 4 Felony.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident last Friday and was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing. He was later released with pre-trial conditions following a court hearing.
