Fox Valley mainstay The Karas Restaurant Group, owners of Rookies, Rookies RocHaus, The Village Squire Restaurants, Old Republic Kitchen + Bar and Alexander’s Cafes is introducing a new concept, “Squire on the Square,” in lovely Woodstock.
Squire on the Square promises to be a modern offshoot of The Village Squire, featuring classic menu items like saganaki, gyros, steaks, pasta, fish, BBQ ribs, prime rib, Mai Tais and their famous free popcorn, as well as new, creative dishes inspired by their other successful restaurants like Ahi tuna wontons, Asian nachos, inspiring sandwiches and smoked brisket. The restaurant will offer a casual, full-service dining experience, complete with a bar, dining room, private event space, and a spacious patio.
“The Squire on the Square will be another ‘Good Place to Be,’” said Bob Karas of the Karas Restaurant Group. “We’re excited to bring this new concept to Woodstock’s historic downtown and offer residents and visitors a place to gather, enjoy great food, and create lasting memories.”
