Grammy-winning rock music legend Jim Peterik will headline a special event celebrating The Norris Cultural Arts Center’s 45th anniversary, Saturday, April 15, at the historic Baker Community Center in downtown St. Charles.
The event includes festive hospitality (gourmet charcuterie, craft beer, fine wine and other treats), valuable raffle baskets, and a few surprises. Hospitality begins at 6:00 p.m., followed at 7:30 by Peterik’s performance.

Peterik, whose “Eye of the Tiger” and “Vehicle” found chart-topping success, will perform a show he calls “Guitar Madness,” blending music, monologues, memories and more. The performance will showcase a variety of Peterik’s personal guitars that he has used throughout his career on stage and in the recording studio. Peterik’s hit songs span the history of rock and roll.
“If you’ve ever experienced a Jim Peterik performance, you know you’ll be in for a highly entertaining and memorable evening,” said James L. Collins, chairman and president, Norris Cultural Arts Center.
Opened in 1978 at the Norris Campus on the east side of St. Charles, the Norris Cultural Arts Center continues fulfilling the mission of cultural arts leadership established by its founders, Dellora and Lester Norris.
