Aurora roots run deep among the team and founders of Society 57, but our name runs even deeper. In 1857, the villages of East Aurora and West Aurora officially joined and formed the City of Aurora – thus our name: Society 57. From the very beginning, our dream has been to create a space that brings people together from all walks of life.

The iconic Pocus Motors building has been completely re-imagined, providing abundant space and an aesthetic that can be described as comfortable elegance. Our event space was designed to be flexible, making it a perfect option to host your wedding and reception all in one location. We offer on-site day of coordinators, flexible catering and bar options, as well as the opportunity to include our highly skilled baristas for your own unique and customized specialty coffee shop experience.

So while weddings and private events are our forte, Society 57 is also home to curated events that bring the community and arts together to fuel the human spirit. From workshops and lectures, to gallery viewings and innovative food and beverage pop-ups, there’s always excitement to be found at Society 57.
COFFEE + INNOVATION
Society 57 is also home to a beautifully designed coffee shop, offering a variety of seating options – perfect for working alone or with others, connecting with friends, or just hanging out. In addition, two mid-size rooms with overhead doors are designed to provide private space for meetings, workshops or small gatherings.
Our menu features speciality coffee from locally loved roasters, as well as a rotating selection from some of the most unique and hard to find roasters around the country. On tap is nitro and cold brew coffees, as well as creative seasonal offerings such as our chili-infused Honey Spice Latte, Toasted Coconut Latte, Strawberry Matcha, Basil Oat Cappuccino and more.
