The Storm? Yes, It’s Still Dangerous

While snow stopped flying fairly early and the skies have largely cleared, the weather pattern we’re suffering under remains dangerous.

Wind chills remain at -35 to -45 degrees, which can bring on frostbite in as little as 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph will create blowing and drifting snow especially in open areas. This will create reduced visibilities and dangerous travel conditions through tonight so avoid any non-essential travel if possible.

On the bright side, according to the National Weather Service, after brutal winter weather thru Monday, the weather pattern is supposed to flip to unseasonable warmth. By late week, highs in the 40s are likely, and 50 is possible.
