The National Weather Service continues to update its forecast for the major storm expected to hit the Fox Valley tomorrow.
NWS has moved up the storm’s expected arrival time, indicating dangerous travel conditions beginning Thursday mid-morning in the western portion of the region.
In addition to falling and blowing snow, extreme cold will worsen the dangerous conditions Thursday and Friday as wind chills will drop to as low as 35 degrees below zero early Friday morning. Once the snow stops, dangerous cold will continue through the holiday weekend.
Needless to say, travel during this period is highly discouraged.
We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
