    Oswego Man Found Dead In Jaycee Park, Head Wound Self-Inflicted

    A man was found dead Saturday near Jaycee Park in Oswego, the result of a gunshot wound to the head, according to Oswego police.

    At approximately 11:29 a.m., Oswego Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Saugatuck Rd for a report of an unresponsive subject. The body of an adult male was found deceased in dense brush south of Jaycee Park.

    On Sunday, a forensic autopsy was performed by the Kendall County Coroner’s Office which indicated that the individual had suffered a single self-inflicted gunshot wound.

    As of this time, the release of the identity of the individual is pending formal confirmation and notification of next-of-kin.
