According to a report today by Susan Sarkauskas of the Daily Herald Media Group, US Marshals are searching for a Maple Park man who caused a fatal head-on collision in Elburn while under the influence of methamphetamines and cocaine.

On the morning of August 22, 2022, Kane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of Keslinger Rd. west of Thryselius Dr. in Elburn for a crash with serious injuries. The initial investigation indicated that 27-year-old Isaiah Jadzak, driving a 2003 Honda HR-V, was traveling westbound on Keslinger Rd. had crossed the center line into the eastbound lane of traffic, striking an eastbound 2021 Honda Civic, driven by 45-year-old Marcus Jones of Montgomery.

Jones was transported to Delnor Hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased. Jadzak was also transported to Delnor Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On October 3, Jadzak was charged with reckless homicide, aggravated DUI under the influence of intoxicating compounds — accident causing death, and one count of possession of a controlled substance, according to the report.

Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain has announced that the U.S. Marshals Service is now searching for Jadzak pursuant to an arrest warrant that has been issued, according to the report, .

Anyone with information about Jadzak may call the sheriff’s Investigations Division at 630-444-1103.
