Oswego police are seeking assistance in identifying a man who might have knowledge of the whereabouts of a Bolingbrook man who has been missing since March.
On March 29, a Dodge Charger rented by Edward Gardner, who was reported missing by his family in March, was involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Hammond, Indiana. The man below was a passenger in the Charger, and both he and the driver fled the scene of the crash. Security cameras in a nearby gas station captured photos of him with the Charger just 5 minutes before the crash occurred.
Police believe that this man may have some knowledge of the missing man, and are asking assistance in identifying him in hopes of learning more.
The man is described as a black male, about 5’3″ & 120 lbs., wearing a red hoodie, black puffy jacket, jeans, blue nitrile gloves and black shoes.
The car appears to have already been damaged, on the driver’s side window and the right front bumper underneath the headlight, before the crash occurred.
Anyone with any information is urged to call the Oswego Police Department at 630-551-7300 or Kendall County CrimeStoppers to report information anonymously at 630-553-5999.
